Terms of Service

NeuroSpicy (“NeuroSpicy”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a life-management app designed for brains that work differently. It helps you capture tasks and ideas, build routines, plan your day, and bring your calendars together in one calm place.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use NeuroSpicy. If you're under 18, you should use NeuroSpicy with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

You need an account to use most of NeuroSpicy. You are responsible for:

• keeping your sign-in details and connected devices secure;
• all activity that happens when your account is signed in;
• providing accurate information, such as a real email address you can be reached on.

You may sign in with an email and password, or with Google as a sign-in provider. Either way, you must not share your account or let others use it. You can delete your account and its data at any time from within the app.

You agree not to misuse NeuroSpicy. In particular, you won't:

• use NeuroSpicy for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful;
• upload content that infringes someone else's rights, including intellectual property;
• attempt to access, alter, or disable systems, data, or accounts that aren't yours;
• interfere with the service's security, or try to reverse-engineer or scrape it;
• use NeuroSpicy to send spam, harass others, or spread malware.

NeuroSpicy is not designed for storing medical, legal, financial, or emergency-critical information. Don't rely on it as your only record of anything important.

“Content” means anything you create or save in NeuroSpicy — tasks, subtasks, brain dump entries, routines, appointments, reminders, daily plans, and your settings.

• You own your content. NeuroSpicy doesn't claim ownership of it.
• You give NeuroSpicy a limited, worldwide licence to use, store, and process your content only as needed to operate the service for you (for example, saving it, syncing it across your devices, and showing it back to you).
• You are responsible for the content you save and for making sure you have the right to save it.

How your data is collected, stored, and handled is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

Google Calendar

Connecting Google Calendar is optional. When you connect it, NeuroSpicy requests read-only access to your calendar events and your calendar list so you can choose which calendars to see and view relevant calendar information inside NeuroSpicy. NeuroSpicy does not use its current Google Calendar permissions to create, edit, or delete Google Calendar events. Your use of Google Calendar is also governed by Google's terms and policies. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from within NeuroSpicy or revoke access in your Google account.

Apple Calendar

Apple Calendar (including iCloud calendars) is read on your device using the permission you grant iOS. That calendar information is not copied into your NeuroSpicy account and remains under Apple's terms and your device's privacy controls.

Third-party services like Google and Apple are provided by their own companies. NeuroSpicy isn't responsible for their availability, accuracy, or behaviour, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

We work hard to keep NeuroSpicy reliable, but we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may update, change, pause, or discontinue features, or the service itself, at any time. Where a change significantly affects how NeuroSpicy works, we'll try to let you know in advance through the app or by email.

NeuroSpicy — including its name, logo, design, and software — is owned by us and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't give you any right to use NeuroSpicy's branding or software except as needed to use the service as intended.

NeuroSpicy may offer paid features or subscriptions in the future. Where a purchase is available and you choose to buy it, the details of what's included and the price will be shown to you before you commit, and any purchase made through Apple's App Store is also governed by Apple's terms for that purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled in your Apple account settings before the renewal date.

We may add, change, or remove paid features over time. Paid features are a way to support NeuroSpicy; the core experience described in these Terms isn't dependent on any specific paid feature that hasn't yet launched.

You can stop using NeuroSpicy at any time, and you can delete your account and data from within the app whenever you like.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if your activity creates risk or legal liability for us or others, or if we stop offering the service. When your account ends, your right to use NeuroSpicy stops, and we'll delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

NeuroSpicy is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and conditions, whether express or implied, including any promise of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't promise that the service will meet your needs, be error-free, or that any error will be corrected.

NeuroSpicy is a supportive tool. It isn't medical, therapeutic, or professional advice, and it isn't a substitute for professional support.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NeuroSpicy and its team won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-data damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability for anything connected with these Terms or your use of NeuroSpicy is limited to the amount you've paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or, if you haven't paid anything, to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that can't be excluded by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know through the app or by email before they take effect. Your continued use of NeuroSpicy after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
